Gone are the days of pen and paper, the Ipad generation is upon us. It is a normal Monday morning in a modern-day primary school.
One class are learning to multiply, another is researching World War I, and another class is taking photographs of nature. All these classes have one thing in common; they’re all using Ipads.
It has been proven in a 2011 Ofsted report that children learn more effectively when learning visually. The report also stated that concentration levels are proven to be higher when using similar devices.
So, why would we go back to pen and paper? Technology is fast becoming the forefront of our economy. Teaching our children at young ages can, surely, only be a positive for the future of our society.
